American Heart Association BLS Provider Course

The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider course is designed for healthcare professionals and lay responders who need to respond to respiratory and cardiac emergencies. This comprehensive course covers critical skills such as high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), effective ventilation techniques, and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Participants will learn to recognize the signs of a heart attack and stroke, perform chest compressions, and provide rescue breaths using a bag-mask device.

The course also emphasizes teamwork and the importance of effective communication during emergencies. Hands-on practice with interactive scenarios ensures participants feel confident in their ability to perform BLS in real-life situations. Upon successful completion, students receive a BLS provider certification card, which is valid for two years. This training empowers individuals to act swiftly and effectively, potentially saving lives in critical situations.
